The house is located just off Mill Road, a 20-minute walk from the centre of Cambridge and a 10-minute walk from the station (see the ‘rail’ section below for directions from the station). The David Parr House is a 10-minute cycle ride from the city centre. Bike racks are located opposite the house or on the Mill Road side of Gwydir Street car park.
The No. 2 bus from the city centre (Emmanuel Street, stop E3) runs along Mill Road. It takes only five minutes to arrive at the Gwydir Street stop. View Stagecoach live departures here.
There are regular trains to Cambridge from London Kings Cross and Norwich as well as from across the country. Once you arrive, it takes only ten minutes to walk to The David Parr House.
Directions exit the station, walk right across the taxi area and through the car park, pass under the cycle bridge, then turn right onto Devonshire Road. Walk to the junction, and turn left onto Mill Road. Cross at the first set of traffic lights into Gwydir Street. The house is 100m on the right. Here is a video to help you find your way.

Parking: paid parking is available for four hours in Gwydir Street car park,which is about 50m from the David Parr House. Payment is by ‘Just Park’ which is an online service. You can pay by card but cash payments are not accepted. If you would like to park for longer than four hours then we suggest the Queen Anne Terrace car park, which is a 10-minute walk along Mill Road.
